Our indoor environment

E has been crawling for a while now so has access to anything she can reach. We have selected some of her favorite board books to be placed in a tiny basket in each room. She loves crawling to the basket and selecting a book to flip through.

Her playroom has a variety of toys on shelves within reach. The toys we would like her to wait to play with, we placed on the higher shelves. So far she has only selected toys on the lowest shelf (the toys we think are the most age-appropriate). We have placed some artwork at her eye-level that we thought she may enjoy. She loves both paintings and the professional photograph! In the back, you can see her desk. This is a toddler-sized set and was the smallest we could find. It is still a bit big for her but she still LOVES sitting at the desk and playing with some select wooden toys that she can bang on the table to make noise. She can exit the chair by herself (although its more of a slide/allowing herself to fall the short distance).
